Welcome to Operation India!

The Greatest Commission ever given on this earth was by Jesus Christ to His Church. He said to go into the entire world and preach the Gospel to every creature. There are 6,000 Unreached People Groups in the world. An unreached people group (UPG) has no indigenous group of believers capable of reaching their own people. Staggering, isn’t it? Imagine the immensity of that statement! Paul, the Apostle, took our Lord’s command seriously. In Colossians 1:23, God’s Word confirms that commission was fulfilled. Not so today!

India, at 1.1 billion people is the second largest nation on planet earth. Eight hundred million of India’s population are Hindu. She has a staggering 1,700 Unreached People Groups. Operation India has committed itself to reaching 50 of these groups by establishing indigenous local churches capable of reaching their own people. That leaves 1,650 groups representing tens of millions of people still in total spiritual darkness. Our burden is to share the reality of this unbelievable need with local churches across the nation. India must hear!
